2ND ENGINEER- 60M CLASSIC S/Y

A stunning classic sailing yacht is looking for a strong second engineer to join them in the Caribbean for February 2023.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a good foundation of yacht engineering experience, and/or someone with a good mechanical engineering background.

The Chief engineer has been on board many years and knows the boat really well. He will be taking more annual leave, and therefore it is a good chance for someone who is ready to have the responsibility of taking care of things in his absence.

Successful applicants will also be keen sailors, and enjoy getting on deck to help with sails when required and on passages.

There is great history of crew longevity on board, and they are looking for a hands on team player who will appreciate the yacht and its history.

They will be based in the Caribbean for the winter season and most likely sail to the East Coast USA for summer 2023.

This a great position for someone working towards their SV tickets.

Start date is flexible, but ideally for February/March 2023.

The salary will reflect experience and will be industry standard.
