- Bosun
A unique world cruising 60+m S/Y is looking for a strong bosun to join their deck team of 4. The bosun will be responsible for the day to day running of the deck under supervision of the chief officer. The bosun is heavily relied on to organise and execute jobs in a timely manner, and to put forward any works that need to be carried out, run stores and orders and delegate accordingly. Although the chief officer will oversea operations, the deck will be led and organised by the bosun.
They will also need to have strong experience handling sails and large deck gear, and be able to assist in training the deckhands.
Duties will also include leading a navigational watch and LSA/FFE/planned maintenance. This is a hands on role and will be approx. 80% deck and 20% bridge, however more responsibility will be given over time to candidates who show potential.
