- 1st Officer/1st Mate
A Chief officer, with OOW is wanted for a beautiful 55m S/Y to join in Palma as soon as possible.
This is a full time position with adventurous owners who take great care of their crew and value a solid team. This is a dual season, world cruising program and the owners enjoy getting the sails up regularly when on board.
Candidates must be genuinely strong sailors with a solid understanding of in boom furling systems and sailing a ketch. The boat is commercially registered, and although a good knowledge and grasp up paperwork and compliance is needed, this is still a hands on position with a deck team of 3.
Candidates will ideally have already been a Chief Officer/ First Mate on a similar sized vessel or smaller, or could be a strong bosun with a great sailing background who is looking to step up.
There is a competitive salary of offer which is negotiable dependent on experience
