First mate 45m S/Y

• 1st Officer/1st Mate

We are looking for an experienced first mate and strong sailor to join this fantastic 45m private sailing yacht.

This is a fantastic program with experienced yacht owners, who have good history of keeping crew longterm.

This role is either suitable for a 1st Mate who as worked on smaller performance sailing yachts and is ready to take a step up in size or it could be a great fit for someone who has been 1st mate on similar sized yachts. You would be given the opportunity to gain drive time and step in as Captain during yard periods/ when the boss isn’t onboard. You need to have good management and communication skills. Ideally you hold your OOW or are close to obtaining it.
