Second officer

An 80+m S/Y is looking for a Second officer to join them at the end of the season. This is a dual season program that is commercially registered and charters. Ideally candidates will be able to join in October which will allow for a decent handover and time to get familiar with how things operate, but there is flexibility with this.
A strong sailing background is necessary, as is experience and proven longevity on larger sailing vessels.

Candidates will hold the following certification and experience:

• OOW/Chief Mate
• SSO Certificate
• Medical Care at Sea
• Experience with:
  • ECDIS
  • Passage plans
  • SSP and security management
  • Ships medical kit management
  • GMDSS
• Beneficial but not essential:
  • Dive Instructor (one onboard required)
  • PWC Instructor (one onboard required)
